New Co-Webmaster

I’d like to give a warm welcome to our new co-webby, Ela. She’s been gracious enough to offer to help me out and I’ve accept.

As of right now she’ll be hard at work on the galleries and will be posting regularly. With her help we’ll be able to get Sebastian-Stan.Com back up to date, so I’m very grateful to her.

Hello, everyone. I’ve come to the conclusion that with my school and work schedule I’m not going to be able to keep this site up to date like I want to, so I’ve decided to take on a co-webmaster to help run the site.

The main job of this co-webby will be to keep the galleries current, so I’m really looking for someone who knows coppermine and has HQ image access. The person I’m looking for also has experience running fansites, hard coding html, and knows how to use wordpress and its associated plugins.

As I said before, the co-webby’s main responsibilities will be keeping up to date with news on the main page and updating the galleries, but these responsibilities may expand in the future and if I make the decision to leave Sebastian-Stan.Com, the website could be turned over to them if they wanted it.

Things have been really slow around here for a couple of reasons. One reason is that I’m currently in school and it is taking up the majority of my time. As I stated before, my classwork and projects come first. I’m in an accelerated BA program, so I have double the work as my classes are half the usual length, so it can’t be helped.

The second reason is that Sebastian has been under the radar as of late. He is currently in Berlin filming “The Apparition,” so there isn’t much news and certainly no pictures. However, I still keep a look out for new things just in case something pops up. When it does, I will post it.

When things start to slow down, I hope to get the galleries and video archive back up to date with the last of the “Kings” episodes and the “Spread” clips. I would also like to get a new layout online, but I’m not sure when this will happen as I am swamped with work. However, rest assured that I have not abandoned this site. I’m just dealing with real life right now.

Please note that things will be slow around here for the next few weeks as I am scheduled to have surgery tomorrow (9/25/09) and will be in the hospital for at least three days. It will also take me three to six weeks to heal completely, so although I will try to update as much as I can while I am convalescing, recovering is my first priority and the website will take a back seat to that.

I will still be able to check my email and be online for short periods of time, so feel free to submit news and pictures. I will update the site with the really good/important things, but updates like screencaps and video clips will likely be put on the back burner.

Thanks for your patients and understanding concerning this matter.

5th Annual BGC Charity Day images

Just letting everyone know that there are images of Sebastian at the 5th Annual BGC Charity Day Event, however they are either watermarked and not good quality, or I don’t have access to them (wireimage). I’ll keep trying to find some decent pics that I can add to the gallery. If anyone can help with this, that would be great. Thank you.

HQs of Sebastian at the Screening of Inglorious Bastards in NYC and Blake and Sebastian filming scenes for Gossip Girl have been added to the galleries.

A huge thank you to Mel @ Blake Lively Web for the filming pics. I also had a hard time finding pics of Sebastian at the Inglorious Bastards screening, so if anyone has access to more pics at this event, please let me know. Thanks.

New Layout

As you can see, a new layout is online. I still have to finish tweaking the template, but it’s viewable. Also, this layout is compatible with both IE and FireFox. I’ll continue to work on it this weekend and unless something really good comes up, updates will be on hold until monday.

Website poll is fixed.

Charlie Banks to be released on DVD

Sebastian’s film, The Education of Charlie Banks will be released on DVD Tuesday, June 30th, 2009. I’ll have clips and screencaps of his scenes as soon as the DVD comes out, so look out for that.

Also, I still have a couple more Covenant clips to make and I’m also working on a new layout, so there will be some changes and downtime in the near future.

I’ve gone a head and started a twitter for this site to keep fans as up to date as possible on what Sebastian is doing. We’ll see how it goes and if it turns out to be useful, I’ll keep it.

Also, Sebastian is in the new June/July 2009 issue of Out Magazine. I should have scans soon, so look out for that.
